Our decisions become crucial in a world that has so much to offer. We can find entertainment, employment, wealth, and fame. All of these may be beneficial to us, or not. They may be part of God’s will, or not.
So we seek, and pray, and try to discern. Sometimes the answers are evident; other times we struggle to hear God’s voice. But we are told that fellowship with God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ are key to our living in this world. The Spirit he gave us is proof that we live in Him and He lives in us. Let that sink in. He lives in us, and we live in him. That cannot be explained by anything the world has to offer.
And therein lies the joy that only God can bring. God offers us truth, freedom from fear, and a peace that passes understanding. And most of all, God offers us love. God is love.
